About Us

We are an organisation that promotes the Brazilian culture and Carnival spirit across the country. We guarantee our drumming events to be fun, energising and stimulating for everyone. Previous experience of drumming is not a requirement. Everyone can join in.

We provide workshops and performances for schools and corporate events, as well as carnival, festivals and private functions.

Workshops include; demonstration/introduction,warm up activities eg. body percussion, trying out the Brazilian instruments and learning the samba groove. Samba performances are provided by a choice of many exciting and enthusiastic Samba bands based in the Southwest.The vibrant rhythmic music is formed by various Samba rhythms being played on Brazilian percussion instruments. The Bateria (bands) consists of up to 30 musicians, which gives off a very impressive and exciting sound!

  Our school workshops involve a range of rhythm activities which encourage group interaction, social skills, patience, self esteem and much more. Drumming is the tool used in the development of self-confidence. Pupils work as a team towards a common goal, and are encouraged to hear and depend upon the musical contributions of others.
