WHAT IS THE PROJECT?
Project Jam On is our way to keep free social music gatherings alive during the COVID restrictions. We have been uploading a series of backing tracks for people from all around the world to play along to.
Let's keep spirits high and inspire each other to get creative and have some fun!
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
All you need is an instrument (homemade if you don't have one), some headphones and someone to film you or a tripod to film yourself.
Play the backing track from the start and follow the instructions carefully.
Record yourself making music along to part of our backing track, or a full performance over the whole song. We might not be able to use all of it, but we will do our best to fit everyones recordings together!
We will select the best videos to feature in our Jam Showcase!
WHAT'S NEW IN JAM2?
An award-winning, record-breaking beatboxer, producer and live-looper, Shlomo has collaborated and performed with a number of famous artists including Björk, Lily Allen, Jarvis Cocker, Rudimental and Ed Sheeran.
The original turntable trickster & funk maestro Jimi Needles is a top London party-starter DJ and is best known for his intricate genre-spanning party mixtapes, deck-defying festival sets and array of varied bootlegs & original label productions.
In the second edition of this music project, we have invited two incredible guest artists to add something special to a song that you are invited participate in!
