Casa de Samba - Salisbury community band

Casa de Samba is a new and exciting community Samba band based in Salisbury, England

The vibrant rhythmic music that we play is formed by various Samba rhythms being played on Brazilian percussion instruments. The Bateria (band) consists of up to 20 musicians, which as you can imagine, gives off a very impressive and exciting sound!

Ideal for outside events, parades, festivals, nightclubs, parties, stage performances

We have previously performed at:

Nunton Fate, Trafalgar Fireworks show, Andover Carnival, Woodlands School fate, Pewsey Carnival, Amesbury Carnival, Salisbury City Hall, Salisbury Carnival, London Southbank Centre, Hudson Field, Salisbury Arts Centre, Bath Carnival and many more.

Casa de Samba classes – open to everyone

Thursdays 6.30pm–8pm

Woodlands Primary School

Single class: £6 (£4 concessions) 50% of each term paid upfront

Casa de Samba run weekly sessions every Thursday (during term time)

The classes take place at Woodland Primary School, 6:30-8pm and are open to anyone any age any ability. No drumming experience needed!

Your first session is free, after that the fee will be £3/£2 per class plus the upfront termly base rate.

Term one: 10th January 2013 to 7th February -

Term two: 21st of February to 21st of March -

Term three: 11th of April to 23rd of May -

Term four: 6th of June to 18th of July -

Term five: 5th of September to 24th of October -

Individual arrangements can be made if anyone has a problem with the cost of the class.
