Samba Sulis – Bath community samba band

Samba Sulis is an exciting and enthusiastic community based Samba band based in Bath, England

The vibrant rhythmic music that we play is formed by various Samba rhythms being played on Brazilian percussion instruments. The Bateria (band) consists of up to 30 musicians, which as you can imagine, gives off a very impressive and exciting sound!

Ideal for outside events, parades, festivals, nightclubs, parties, stage performances

Samba Sulis classes – open to everyone

Samba Sulis is open to anyone who is interested in drumming and wants to have some fun! You DON'T have to already be a drummer to join.

Coming to classes gives you a chance to learn the Samba, be invited to demonstrate and perform what you learn, and become part of a very friendly social circle.

We rehearse every Tuesday at the University of Bath, BA2 7AY, In the Chaplaincy building (no religious connection) 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Drums are provided every week, but feel free to bring your own instrument if you prefer.

Everyone is entitled to one free "Taster session" and if you decide that you want to join, The cost is £50 for 10 weeks (advanced payment) for adults, Or £30 for 10 weeks (advanced payment) for students.

Alternatively, you can keep coming as and when you like for £6.00 each session - for adults, or £4.00 each session - for students.
