Samba workshops in schools

Our workshops involve a range of activities, including:

Demonstration/Assembly

Musical warm up games and group building activities, structured music making, a full range of instruments to play.

During the sessions participants create their own rhythms by translating words into drumming beats and exploring their musical potential.

These activities encourage:

Drumming reflects the National Curriculum in PSHE: learning is totally participatory.

Drumming is the tool used in the development of self-confidence. Pupils work as a team towards a common goal, and are encouraged to hear and depend upon the musical contributions of others
